Northeast Regional Banquet
The Northeast Regional Banquet was held at the Venus De Milo in
Swansea, Massachusetts. The skater of the year was Jenny Drouin.
We had a large boisterous crowd of Plainfield Skating Club members
and parents. Two of our skaters were recognized for their National
Championship accomplishments: Matthew Shafer (Juvenile B Boys
Figures National Champion) and Cassandra Seidel (Primary A Solo
Dance 3rd Place). Both Matthew and Cassandra nominated for special
awards with Cassandra winning the Uncle Charlie Santoro Award.
