2008 Northeast Regional Banquet
The Plainfield Skating Club came home with a bunch of awards at the annual awards
banquet held at the Venus de Milo. Tiarra Shafer won the award for the Northeast
Regions outstanding freestyle skater. Her brother Matthew Shafer won the award for
the outstanding "Up and Coming" skater which is given to the skater in the B/C
divisions who show the most promise. Brianna Seidel was awarded the Uncle Charlie
Santoro award for the A level skater in the Freshman age or younger with the most
promise. This award was given by her sister Cassandra who won the award last year.
In addition, all who placed at the 2007 National Championships were recognized.
